*shrugs* I like it because it shows off the nights sky as well as the buildings.

I do wish I would have dropped down a little lower on this one, but it was the last picture of the night as we were going to leave the pier.

I'd actually prefer the earlier one with a different crop, losing the castle on the right makes it less interesting to me.

Ok, i have been away from the thread for awhile. Everything looked great guys!
So I recently bought what i call "grandad" - It is a 1980 Nikon 300mm F4.5 IF-ED Prime! I also picked up the matching 1980 x2 nikon teleconverter TC-301 for fun. I took it with me to the zoo today to see how this old lens fared. I realize my framing is mostly centered. But it was a busy day at the zoo, so i had to take what i could get. Here are the images from Grandad 300! Criticism is welcome ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() And for those that want to see my recent macro work check out this vid. But warning its abit morbid.. as it starts out with a macro video of a mosquito drinking blood. And... well.... Splat... Macro slide show just after the mosquito grossness. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_m6DeLwwXlI

Now that im at work they all seem abit under exposed. I need to calibrate my home monitor and trust the histogram.
