I remember seeing people with Full Frame camera's were able to use the lens without any issues. I think some might have cut off the attached lens hood to clear up any problems. I could be wrong though since there are a few different versions of this lens that might work for FF.

Nice shots!
The first shot of the spider is going to be difficult to get with that lens due to the focusing distance needed. I think some people use adapters to mount the 50mm backwards to use as a macro lens. But if you're into macro I'd go for a legit Macro lens |

i got the d5100, only b/c the store i was at offered it at basically the same price point as the d3100 as a promo (it was like a hundred bucks more i think). holy ****...that falcon picture is really, REALLY good NICK (sorry i missed this).
