The 135 f/2 is superb -- but 15yrs old now. For the price it's an absolute bargain, but as tempting as it is I wouldn't be surprised if it's on Canon's update list, adding IS to the next ver. On a 1.6x crop body (7D etc) you'll be at 216mm and IS is a definite advantage at that focal length, particularly in low light.
