hmm..i think it's down to flickr or smugmug. i guess it's whether or not i want to spend the $40+ / year instead of $25. not sure how far i'm gonna go with photography, i'm really not that good yet, but it's turning into far more of a hobby than i thought it would haha. i'm already scouting for another lens to complement my kit lens! i like flickr just b/c even in its basic form it has some decent protection levels. smugmug charges its medium-grade for the right click protect, yada yada that flickr offers for free. but overall i'm very impressed w/ the smugmug layout and website capabilities. |

We use Betterphoto.com for our business RMK PhotographyCapturing the moments that make up a lifetime bucause it's canned and easy. I use photobucket for my play stuff just to dump shots and link to them.
Nitex- congrats on you new purchase!

Figured I'd post up a few quick shots I did this weekend. Nothing spectacular but here we go.
Macro shots taken with Tamron 90mm 2.8 Macro The last photo was taken with a Rokinon 8mm Fisheye These were just converted in LR ,Don't think I really did any editing on them. http://nick911sc.deviantart.com/gallery/ <----My gallery(My progress from learning to shoot DSLR lol) Last edited by Nick911sc; 08-01-2011 at 11:07 AM. |

haha, you're like me, the last shot has a tilt to it. i always have a fair bit of difficulty making sure the shot i'm taking is close to horizontal.
what lens are you using btw? just curious |

Lens used are either kit lens 18-55 or fixed 50mm that im messing around with. Not sure im sold on it.. seems kind of redundant unless its better for fast shooting. Ken, gimp ninja with wooden sword. Bring a gun or anything sharp really and i lose

Nitex- lol hahaha. i see. i shall carry my pencil then for safety.
on that last wall pict, did you use a 55mm? nearly impossible to get a straight verticle line if you dont have enough space to back up, right? ive had issues where trees in my shot has a curvy cat's back. thus i want to know more about blowing out the background like how Beach's doing it on his car shots. just use blurr software? low f/stops obviously caused parts of my car to go out of focus which is bad. |
