Roller Limo and an S4
 

went to hickory this weekend expecting to shoot some more porsches but that didn't work out. we rolled the Roller out to take a few shots of it. this is the family's "night on the town" ride. after maneuvering this beast around the parking lot, i can vouch for my friend's statement that driving this thing is like steering a mobile home with an engine. also, my friend's mother is selling her S4 so we took some pics of it as well so he could use them for advertising of the sale. if anyone is interested in it, let me know and i can get you in touch with the seller.

did you use any umbrellas or any lighting at all for the front shot of the audi? the friggen exposure is immaculate!

no i didn't use any lighting on the exterior shots, only engine and interior shots inside the hangar... they don't call it "magic hour" for nothing :)

i didnt think so, and yeah, magic hour FTW, both morning and dusk, but i prefer dusk.

That S4 is quite nice... Geht schnell lol

what does that mean?

oh yeah, and how do you get access to a runway for the shoot?

i think it means go fast....

they own the hangar and the planes in it... so it's their ramp too;)

oh... well, wish me luck trying to get my local airport to let me do this.

if they have private hangars, especially ones that rent airplanes, pick a day when not a lot is going on and call them and ask if you can use their tarmac (if they don't have anything coming in or going out) for a little bit. i've done that too and if you get the right person on the phone, usually you can work something out. it's easy here since the people paying me to shoot own the joint lol
