NIKON 5300 Help
Just bought a Nikon 5300 and was wanting to know which is the best set-up to take pictures with...ex. Outdoor and Indoor modes
|
I would highly recommend using the P mode on your camera to start, notice how the camera adjusts the shutter speed, fstop, etc.
Once you learn a little more about your camera go to M mode and set all the values yourself. It's a great learning experience and it will benefit you immensely in the long run. |
For "artistic" photography, there are no best settings. Play around with the settings until you get the effect you want.
For "general" photography, Ghh0st has the right idea - leave it in P mode. Once you get used to what's going on, you can switch to different modes (eg, shutter priority, manual) to get the depth of field, blur, &c that you want. |
