How much the shop charge you? I want to do something similar but I'm really don't feel like ripping apart my front dash.

Well that was the issue, they were gona charge $500 to just take out the dash. I was like FUK that just mount it on the dash. Let me upload the pic.

oh yeah Fk that. I'll wait till someone does a DIY and figure out if I can do it myself. If I can then ok. If not then it aint happening.

On a side note, how is the color match to the other orange LED's in the car. From the picture it looks great.

zeto, looks pretty good considering you decided not to replace the clock... nice job

all, i believe the clock location should be accessible by completely removing the center console and temporarily pulling some of the hvac vents... you shouldn't have to pull the entire dash... i'd post pics of mine, but that's pretty much useless at this point
