There is 1 small spot on the driver's side handle that has kind of a bump on it, probably some dust under the clear. It isn't something you would really notice unless you got right up on the handle and looked at the exact spot. If it ever bothers me I may do some light wet sanding and polish that spot after 3-4 months when everything has cured...overall it's no big deal. I'll post pics when I get them installed.

Sorry, already installed. There are already several DIY threads for removal. I will post pictures tomorrow when I can snap a few.

Thanks for the feedback. Unfortunately a piece of dust does make it under the clear occasionally since I don't have a real spray booth. It is easy to take care of as you mentioned with light sanding with 2500-3000 grit and polish. You can actually do it now as it might be a bit harder once fully cured.

How did the color match up to the two tone?

I'll be honest man, I'm not sure if it bothers me enough to even worry about it

On a side note, there was one issue with the handle itself, not the paint. I did not end up being able to unhook the blue connector because I don't have the micro-size hands I'd assume you need to do that, so I had to go the swap the button route...and I'm glad I did or I'd never have noticed the problem. Either the previous owner of that core or yourself broke one of the receptors on the left of the metal plate that holds the button in, so when I unscrewed that screw with almost no force, it broke right off. I know it wasn't me because there was glue already there from where whoever tried to glue it down before. I ended up using Gorilla glue for plastic to glue it back on and it was very strong so I'm not really concerned but that was something I was not expecting. I'm not sure if it's going to be an issue in the future with vibrations/bumps/etc but I hope not. Also, I did end up somewhat stripping the screws that hold that plate in on my stock handles but left them up high enough where they can be easily extracted with a small pair of pliers or vice grips. Those screws will need to be replaced so if you need to take the cost of those two screws out of my core charge that's cool. I will ship them back tomorrow once I get into the office.

Now that's it sunny I'll be pulling it out of the garage and comparing the color match later today, I'll keep you posted and post some pictures.

Those plastic screw holes are super fragile and snaps like nothing with all the loc-tite used from factory. As long as you were able to tighten it back down without it breaking apart it is pretty much a non-issue. About 1/3 of the cores I receive back I've had to repair them using epoxy. The button will actually hold tight and function with just one screw as well. No worries on the two screws.

Yea the button was still working fine when I glued that piece back, I'm not overly concerned.

So I've taken some time to analyze the paint match and it's pretty much exact. Thanks again equal. Hopefully I can get some decent pics one of these days
