Would you want a used pad broken in on another rotor? Or you looking for new?

I'm not sure, I guess they can break in again. After time normally the pad or rotor becomes wavy. So a wavy pad on your flat rotor might not work out so well. Plus I don't know about heat cycles, and such. On such a life saving item I wouldn't cheap out on someone's old pad they don't want!

Oh look it's Mr. Reply To All with zero useful info again. "No limit" to the trolling maybe....

The pad will be bedded each time he installs it and before he tracks it: it will "break itself in". Tires have heat cycles not pads.

GLWWTB!!

You're right, not useful. Pads never wear uneven at times. There always perfect. Rotors never warp or get uneven pad material bedded in. That never ever leads to improper wear. In fact you should never buy new pads. You're life means nothing so always buy used, always. Always buy someone's take off track crap they didn't want so it must be perfect for you. I'm sure at 150mph to 40mph you'll be fine. If theyre uneven or something I'm sure in two seconds they'll be broken in. O and I had nothing to give. Wasn't watching out for this guy with a bit of warning...

Who's the troll tool? Serious track guys keep track rotors with track pads for a reason and switch back to road pads with their road rotors and make left/right because of it. Learn something and get lost.

Sigh.. no limit to the bad info or grammar. First off, if you're going to post about something you have no experience or good information about, at least it first.

Second, before you opine on what serious track guys do like street vs track rotors and left vs right pads, learn the correct (not the opposite) use of your vs you're.

Third, like the noob post whore you are, now

And good luck bump to the OP - I'll ask around with my serious track friends who look out for each other and wouldn't sell bunk, shot, or otherwise worthless equipment and see you at the track soon!

Seriously looking for used brake pads???
You're going to wind up hurting yourself or more importantly someone else.. The slightest warp on your rotors with sticky pads and you're asking for trouble.
Good luck with your search but seriously be careful.

Free bump.

Track pads are expensive, used track pads in good condition are fine to use, trade, swap, sell, and use again. Go post in the hardparker meet and eat forums with your no-fact havin' noob friend and leave the drivers alone. You're the reason vendors stop developing real race parts and go sell to subie evo and FT86 owners.

God I've never heard such an incompetent cry baby cry so much. $150-200 for pads is expensive? Get a new job and car mooch, you're not wanted here. Buy new like a big boy and keep venders alive.

Bump for the OP. PM'ing you a link to some track classifieds.

Also:

Knowing nothing about you other than what you post makes you look like a total pr*ck, Gynolimit, so keep making my case for me. (hey everyone, click his name and see his other posts.. watch him talk about his dipped wheels and inertia to people that actually do track) Maybe you forgot who the OP is on this thread and how much you were just trying to look out for him (total BS, post whore) and then tell him where to get the best new brake pad deal and what compound you recommend for the tracks he has to choose from. It's likely due to the fact that you're spreading bad information across so many threads you forgot what level of d*ck to use in this one, so you just went full d*ck. Here in the classifieds we don't judge other members if they don't want to spend $150-$180 PER AXLE for pads they may use 4-6 days per year. Personally I just bought new Carbotech street compounds to swap out for the Carbotechs I run on the track, so I'm allll set. If you ever get all the sh*t off your head (assuming you pull it out, which is a longshot) and off your face to the point where you can see out the windshield why don't you take your Z to the track (Autocross doesn't count, Nancy) and find out what you're NOT made of. We look forward to your impending part-out: There's a used Honda Fit calling your name. and you can always ride your Huffy on the sidewalk.

I didn't say he had warped rotors, but you're right, it's not logical. ...that was my point. It was a cautionary statement to watch out for.. No reason to be a **** about it.
