Nice work. Just out of curiosity how did you come up with the weight limit?

I've seen pictures of people towing personal watercraft with 350's and some of those weigh in at 1000 lbs not including the trailer weigh.

Also, if thats a cut off reflector lens you are using on the "hitch cap" all you would need to do is add a connectr inside there with a led bulb and you can still have a functioning light when the trailer is not connected.

Please post the installation instructions. Bumper removal, hole drilling?

The 350Z hitches that they sell that are similar to my design for the 370Z are listed at 1500 lbs. I know of several people that tried to tow more than 1000 lbs with similar hitches made for a 370Z and they bent there aluminum bumper. I am just being conservative with my number of 80 lbs tongue weight and 800 lbs towing capacity. I love these cars and I would hate to see anyone mess their Z up by towing too much weight. My trailer that I built is about 700 lbs loaded and I have hauled it more than 5000 miles with no problems. Thanks, Ken

Tongue weight is not the same a the weight of the trailer.

The 350z trailer hitch is a similar design. But my hitch is for the 370 and I don't recommend towing anything that heavy . The hitch is only held on to the rear aluminum bumper support . I supply hardened bolts and extra thick fender washers to help strengthen the aluminum support to the body but the body is still pretty thin sheet metal .
