Any plans on making the custom hitch covers that we can just attach our brake light cover to with some minor modification? you could sell these as well... or else I might have to get a propeller hitch cover to go on there.. lol J/K Nice part... and looking to buy in the very near future. :-)

I have been thinking of selling the main aluminum part of the hitch cover. The hitch cover needs to be built on the car after the hitch is installed and bumper cover is installed . Every car is a little different and there is no way that each hitch gets installed in exactly the same position. The hitch cover is not hard to make and really adds to the stealth look when the hitch is not in use. That is the main reason I designed the hitch that way. I did not want some ugly hitch sticking out of the rear bumper of our sweet cars when not in use !

Im guessing buy a cheap hitch cover and then cut anf mod it with the fog light cover or an actual fog light. What about trailor hitch lights? Did you make a harness for that as well?

The best thing to do is remove the outer lens from you stock dummy light and then epoxy to the aluminum piece that I am going to sell. As we know the stock fog light cover fits perfect ! It does not look good to light the cover because you see the aluminum piece and epoxy through the lens . A cheap hitch cover would be that CHEAP !!!!!! Thanks Ken

I am not sure if you are talking about the trailer or the car ? For the trailer I bought a trailer light set ! For our cars you need to wire in a taillight converter that can be bought at any auto parts store. Thanks, Ken

I bought this hitch about two weeks ago. Very nice product. Well thought out. My tire trailer weighs about 700lbs. I balanced the tongue weight to about 55lbs. Towed flawlessly. Check out the write up in the DIY section for the JDM taillight so you can figure out how to get the rear bumper off.

I'll post some pictures in my STR build thread at some point in the next couple days.
