Great work. I may have to get one of these as I need a way to transport wheels to the track. I agree that I would like to see pics of how to install.

Love the trailer as well and would like to know more about that construction (maybe fodder for another post).

BTW....used to live in Wadsworth. Very familiar with Medina.

The car can pull a trailer easily, I usually keep it pretty light at about 500lbs. Other than the noise in the back, you barely notice any difference. Good work on reinforcing the bumper too, I know someone had noticed sagging issue with theirs. You might also want to reinforce the 4 bolts on the bracket too

Bolts?

Do you mean the four bolts that hold the hitch to the bumper? If so those four 1/2 bolts and lock nuts included with the hitch are hardened grade 8 bolts. When I pull my trailer I am glad that it is wider than the car so I can see that it is still there. Like you said I can't even tell it is there. Thanks ken

Genius! Love the track trailer for the tires and tools! Too bad this isn't for Nismo.

Can you tell us how you thought of this great idea for the Z world ?:iagree::iagree::iagree::iagree::iagree::iagree:

cossie1600 01-04-2014 08:20 PM

No, the ones that bolt the bumper onto the frame. It's hard to explain, but the stock bolts go through only the inner portion of the bumper. You want to extend it to use the inside and outside of the bumper so it doesn't rip and sag.
