GTR Style Tinted Tail lights
 

These lights were on my car when I purchased it. Looks like VHT Was used on them. Overall quality is 8.5/10. There are no chips, peeling, or runs. I swapped these put for some OEM tails. These looked great on my magnetic black and the LED lights still shine through brightly.

With some sanding, buffing, and polishing these could be near perfect.

I originally wanted to sand them down and paint them, but I can't get anyone to paint them due to Washington laws.

So when you go grb the inspection sticker what is asked or told to you?

You know some states don't allow you to tint your rear lights for safety purposes. When you go get your car inspected what do they say about your rear lights? Before they issue a Inspection sticker out to you to place on your car.

it's illegal to have tinted tail lights in California. But they don't require you to have clear red tail lights in order for you to get your registration sticker. if you get pulled over and the cop can give you a fix it ticket to clean up the tint.

In Texas unless you get hooked up the inspection guy want even give you a sticker. Sorry for thread jack. Glws!!!! Just wondering what your excuse was.

I don't even know a place that cares in TX... And it shouldn't take more than all of 5 seconds to find a shop that wouldn't care

And I'm not even taking the Texas Troopers into consideration. We ALL know THEY care. I'm blacked out just like the lights being sold here. But my inspection is coming up. And the law has been cracking down on these shops. It's getting tough,

I dunno about that either, I've been pulled over for speeding twice and let off with a warning, lol
