Default Nissan Ester Oil

I have 9 brand new quarts of Nissan Ester Oil 5W30 that I'd like to sell. My plan was to continue using it, but I've since decided to use some synthetic. Thus, I'd rather sell these than go another oil change before the swap.

Again, all nine quarts are brand new. List price that I paid was $11.98.

Make me an offer folks!

9 x 11.98 = 107.82
9 x 10 = 90 ...so 100 to 105

what's the big deal..lol

9x11.98= 107.82 + $10-15 shipping = $117.82-$122.82

Not entirely sure. I bought them at Courtesy Nissan for $11.98/qt. I doubt the dealers will beat that, and factoring in tax will put you right near where shipping is.

How many miles are you at on your ODO? Just curious at the value that your switching over to a different synthetic. Also why did you get an odd number, its like one and a half changes?

I'm at 3500 miles. I bought 9 quarts a while back thinking I was going to install an oil cooler and would need the extra volume. Then I found my oil temps weren't a daily issue and decided against the cooler. I plan to change my oil again in about 500-1000mi which I figure is a good enough time to switch to synthetic.

Just saw this now...probably too late to meet up today. I'll be around tomorrow and live in the West Loop if you're interested.

you may want to reconsider...you already have the recommended oil you should use it and save yourself the heart ache of the future knocking...

I believe it is a dyno oil w/ ester additives. Originally I thought it was a full synthetic and thus I used it to change the oil in my 370Z at about 1,000 miles. I may go w/ redline or Mobil1 extended performance for the 5,000 miles oil change.

Nissan Ester Oil is a mineral oil with ester additives. It's not a synthetic.
