Oh man, this has piqued my interest. Does it come with the additional parts necessary to make it a full kit? Or is it just the setup kit part?

for that price im assuming its only the turbos... unless its the kit then i'll be all over it

Going by post history, it looks like he just bought the car a little while ago and is now parting it out. Kinda odd, price too good to be true, lack of pics or communication, member since May, 40 posts, most of which are in his own FS/WTB threads. Hmmm. Be wary. I'd love to be wrong and you get a great deal on a kit. Right about now, though, it's both walking and quacking like a duck.

:iagree: and to make it even better. I am local, <2hour drive from him said I'd do cash on pick up so no shipping no PayPal no nothing and he didn't want to take the deal which had me think something was up. 99.9% of the time sellers and buyers like to do it local when possible :ugh2:

I spoke to the dude. He said he didnt have pics cuz it was still on his car.. Dont think he has it off his car yet..

I hope that's the case. I'd love to see this work out for the buyer. He needs to get in touch with the buyer ASAP and put his mind at ease about this transaction.

Ya I was pming with him to and he said the same thing to me. But if its on the car it's even easier take a couple pics of your car make a title/date page to include in the pic like everyone else does when in question and be done with it.

Yeah I'm losing hope with each day at ever getting pics. However, his previous sale of the Project Mu BBK was legit and arrived to the buyer well packaged, so I'm REALLY hoping that he's just not good about gettings pics...and making local sales.... He did say he's in Vegas from Monday through Wednesday, so I'm going to give him a couple more days, altough it seemed very conveniently timed. I believe the Paypal buyer protection works for 30 or 45 days, so as long as I get back in communication with him by this week, it shouldn't get dangerous.

Is it possible for a moderator to free up some of his inbox space somehow? He'd actually been replying pretty regularly until it got full.

He did mention he was going away to me as well if that helps to ease the brain a little. said it was this week and his car was in the shop waiting to get the kit removed. I was gonna paypal him half to hold it but never heard back when I asked for a list of parts and pictures. Maybe he is away.

That sure does help ease my mind, knowing that. Perhaps it's really just poor communication and bad timing. Only time will tell.
