So I recover the car and the cops have laid charges on him for me and the lawyers. He was arrested last week - I don't know how long he will be in jail for / when he will actually go to court for the charges. I have conditionally sold the car to some one who knows the complete history. I will change my civil case to show a loss on sale and go after him and his gf (the car was registered to her and she knew it was stolen. Actually had the balls to call me about it).

So the turbo kit DID exist! It was a 350 HKS TT.
tl;dr Kristopher is indeed in jail. I told the guy I would email him your responses.
