Wow. Just now made it through this thread.

Major props to all involved here. Especially the good Samaritans who had no skin in the game, but spent god knows how much time on others' behalf.

If nothing else, this thread should serve as fair warning to buyers and potential scammers who dare come on this site and try something shady...

That was the point of having this thread stickied... That and serving as a warning to potential scammers.

Edit: Also I don't think he is/was very good at what he does. He was caught almost instantly (here) and ruined pretty quickly. He didn't make any effort to conceal his identity and couldn't resist the urge to engage with people trashing him here - which ended up drawing more attention to himself.

I had a whole thing typed up here about how he could have gotten away with it but then realized I'd be providing a boilerplate for people to do this in the future so...yeah.
