The payment happened very early on while communication was still good and someone was able to vouch for him as a seller (in hindsight, that was probably the sole legit sale he ever made).
The HKS kit was actually sold to someone a while back and never really surfaced, so I thought it was that one.
I used Paypal as buying an item so I'm covered as far as money goes. He has until August 3rd I believe to reach a solution, otherwise I get my money back. Alternatively, what I'm going to be doing is calling Paypal directly once I get back in the states, which should get the case over with immediately.

So guess what. NOW he's replied to me.

....His ONLY legit sale with STOLEN items from a different forum...There must be a glitch in the Matrix.....Obviously we didn't know the brakes were stolen at the time though.

Sadly that turned out to be true. Good news is, that sale is getting worked out now too with regards to the original owner

Is everything worked out? I already had all the links, names, address, and transactions made by him through forums. I don't want to submit any paper work up the agency if I don't have too. Seems like his chosen to have a normal life from what you just stated.

Wow!

First time in here, Im sorry to hear of another scammer Op :shakes head:

I can only echo what Ak has said, And hope this a valuable lesson for everyone here to be wary of any seller or buyer as both types of transactions can go south.

I hope you get this resolved quickly. :tiphat:

PS,

As most know Im constantly in here making sure things meet forum rules But understand I do have a life and can't possible see every single for sale thread that pops up.

For the future Please if you guys see something fishy? Please!! Like AK said Report it or send us a pm so we're in the loop and NOT coming in at the very end of it.

Thanks.

Oh, that didnt work out through his own doing. I was referring to Hyunsoo being able to contact the original owner. This guy hasn't done a single thing to work things out himself.

Can you tell us what he replied to you with?

Fuck I wish this guy was from Niagara like he told me, I got lacrosse boys all over the province and would have had people scoping him out as soon as an address surfaced!

DarkJak 07-29-2013 05:01 AM

"Hey sorry I was out of town like I told you sorry I didn't send over the pics I didn't have time but I see you guys are talking **** about me on the forums can you pls take that off I will send back your 1800 I don't care"

"I'm going to pull on the pics to shut you guys up so just call Paypal in the morning to let them take the money back"

Of course, he hasn't sent the money back himself. Which means Paypal will have to do it.

Funny how they always seem to be able to reply once their personal info gets dumped on the Internet. Too little, too late.

Jasonle 07-29-2013 06:28 AM

I hate it when they reply back "Sorry I was out of town":shakes head: No excuses especially that kind of money. Hope this guy gets it in the ***!

Still no pics?? He must be having a hard time trying to find one to copy and paste :rofl2:

Even if he does post pics 99% sure they will be stolen pics and will not included the name and date as most people would prefer.

red2010z 07-29-2013 10:41 AM

I wanna see these pictures. He probably scammed someone out of this kit like the BBK waiting for it to come in.

I hope you get every penny back!

Hahaha
Yeah there are only a dozen or so pics of this kit on the Internet afaik. Google came up with nothing that the forum didnt have.

At first, once the sale has gone through, I was contacted by DarkJak whether this guy is trusted by me.

Of course, I received the product from him for what I paid for and told him yes, though he is not the "professional" type, I received my stuff, and that I was able to get the pictures I requested through emails.

I think the seller used the sale that went through with me as an advantage and told DarkJak to check his validity. And I vouched for him :shakes head:

Again, I won't go into details regarding the BBK incident, so I will keep it short.

1. Bought the BBK from him which is supposedly "stolen from another guy" and later found out it wasn't for 370z. (it was for 350z, the bracket didn't match)

2. Later was told by DarkJak through PM, that he is a scammer and I was able to find the original owner of the BBK and the thread about the BBK scam

3. Filed a dispute to Paypal, and was also told to "not to ship it back to the guy who sold it"

4. More interestingly, the rightful owner is local, and I contacted him with the whole situation.

I really hope this goes through nice for DarkJak and the rightful owner who has taken a huge financial hit because of the scammer.
