* GPS-enabled Radar Detector: the Escort 9500ix allows a location to be tagged "red light camera", "speed camera", "speed trap" or a rather non-specific "other". No guessing about what you're up against the next time you drive past the location.

* True Lock: a double-tap allows a nuisance signal to be locked out manually, adding it to the database, so next time it encounter the same source it will not alert.

* Auto Learn: if a signal is encountered three times under identical circumstances it is assumed to be caused by a roadside source, probably an automatic door opener. In response the detector automatically locks-out the signal and won't alert when next passing it.

This is a great radar detector, I have the blue display one and I love it. The gps is what sold me on it, it's great not having to mute stuff all the time on the way to and from work.

This detector has saved me NUMEROUS times with red light cameras and Speed camera's while in Tucson, AZ. This should be a first buy for any sports car enthusiast that likes "spirited" driving. GLWS
