Still need to rent a truck and figure at $0.89/mile for the rental + minimum price and fuel. That'll bring you over $1k pretty quick. If you have a truck or know someone that'll let you borrow one I would strongly recommend going that route and coming here.

I ask how can I track this shipment and she tells me they haven't fully implemented their tracking system yet, so I need to call back every few days (she left out the part about I'll be left waiting on perpetual hold every time I call - I'm sure that it slipped her mind). All she could tell me was that the bumper cover left Santa Ana but she can't tell me where it is now....

Thanks for the heads up. I usually try to take the best route possible in terms of safety for the part and for each party. However, if someone REALLY wanted it that bad and was willing to pay the extra expense in having me box it and ship it, they'd be well warned and my responsibility for the part would end when it leaves in greyhounds hands as it is not any preferred method of shipment I would ever advise to use. Hence, the local sale.
