noob question...but how much of an upgrade are these from oem base rotors... i know very little about breaks.. i know just a little bit on the whole drilled/ drilled & slotted / drilled categories...but i would guess this is one step below drilled?

These ARE OEM from sport, they're just larger in diameter than base brakes. They will not fit base brakes

Yeah the wont fit your base brakes you will need new calipers too but this will help save you money if you can find calipers for them

dang looks like I missed a fight! If I didnt just changed my rotors and pads, or have a base, I would be all over these. Your slotted rotors look great btw, I saw em the other day at HEB. GLWS man

I currently have base rotors/brakes but want to upgrade to the red 40th anniversary calipers. If I buy these from you what else will I need to make the upgrade complete?

DeEePiDDy 07-13-2013 07:24 PM

Other than the calipers obviously...

Mike 07-13-2013 09:37 PM

how much for the worst condition set of front brake pads only? I need a set of backing plates for a little project. you can pm or email me at mike@thepowdercoater.com if you want.

All you need is the calipers and the backing plates for the pads so the pistons in the caliper can make contact correctly! I have the lines the rotors and the pads!

@mike If I can't sell this as a kit then I'd sell you the pads but I don't have backing plates.
