Stock Viscous LSD
Hey everyone, I have a stock 2011 LSD out of a totaled Z I picked up with the intentions of installing it on my base model. I however I gave in and welded my diff. It was a front end collision so the diff is perfect. I personally inspected all the gears and it looks great. It is NOT the whole pumpkin, just the actual diff. If you base model guys are looking to put the power in both wheels, this is for you. I am asking $450, that is a hundred and fifty less than I paid for it. I do not have all the rep points, I use this forum as a reference as I do all my own work. I am a very serious seller and I would be willing to go halves on the shipping. And yes I have Pay Pal.. PM me!!

Also I would be more than willing to trade!! I am in the market for H&R/Swift springs, Injen CAI, SPL Camber arms... if interested shoot me an offer!

welded? Drifter?

Man a welded diff with our large rear tires would be annoying one would think. Unless its just a track car of course.
|
Its only annoying in parking garages but I hear its not as annoying as a cluncky LSD

However daily driving is not that bad, I do not mind living without it! Again if you don't care about the noise through tight u-turns and parking lots/garages then it's well worth it. My tires take a beating as a drifter anyway, however I am a firm believer of taking care of your car, and it will take care of you. Daily driving has not hurt my tires that much. However I am a welder/fabricator and if you ever decided to weld your diff make sure whomever is working on it uses a stick welder. MUCH more penetration, MUCH stronger weld. You don't that weld to break when driven hard! |
