Default OEM VLSD, 1 stub axle, bearings, cover

http://www.the370z.com/attachments/p...235.738235.jpg

30k miles
Good condition
Never tracked
I will ship anywhere but live in Colorado.
$200.00 + 30 bucks to fedex. OBO

This is a bit of a misleading picture, Ill update it soon, but I am only selling:

1.The differential (with bearings, but no ring gear),
2.A stub axle (needed to fit OEM LSD (your OEM stubs might work too I'm not certain of fitment from stock to VLSD),
3.Conical Bearings, Still attached to Diff and in good working order
4.Diff cover. You don't need this for upgrade as stock already has one also I recommend switching to NISMO finned cover if you upgrade

to Upgrade your stock diff you will need:
1.two side bearing seals
2.probably different shims, (although your existing shims MIGHT work if your lucky)
3.A good shop to do the install. (I got mine done for $400)

Edit: I removed a confusing picture

So just out of curiosity do you know what's missing to make this complete? ie if you wanted to add it to a base model?

Interested. I see OEM and I also see questions about fitting it to a base. Is this different then the one on the base model?? I'm in colorado too!

Yes it is different than a base model which comes with an Open Differential. Although I am not sure about the fitment if you were to switch.

I believe the base has an open diff.

This is a viscous limited slip diff.

I Cant speak definitively for the fitment of stub axles to a base, but would guess it will fit fine. You will probably only need new bearing seals from the dealer and a good shop for install. (you need a shop because it is not plug and play you need to get the ring gear and bearing preload properly lined up with shims) its actually kinda fun, but unless you have done a lot of diffs, its not a DIY. The shims are the only tricky part of the install because you don't know what you need till you try a few and they take time to order. A good tranny shop may have the ones you need on hand.

If you are near Parker, I did mine at MAC autosport. they are really good to work with and did my diff CHEAP $400!! I love that shop.

1. You would need new seals for the stub axles

2. you would need access to a variety of bearing shims (unless your existing ones just happened to exactly work 20% chance I guess)

3. Diff oil to refill after the swap

4. The bearings are in good shape and already pressed on so are fine to reuse.

5. A NISMO diff cover is a direct swap, and only 120 bucks from Z1 and since you have to pull the cover anyhow for install, is probably a good cheap cooling upgrade.

I'm guessing, 20 bucks for seals, $400-500 for install. ($120 for better finned diff cover if you like)

Sure. I'm always down for swapping diffs and rep. But I think I just sold the diff so we will have to settle for rep.
