FOR SALE: Pioneer X940-BT plug n' play setup
For Sale is my pioneer x940-bt setup.
It will come as a complete plug and play setup, including the metra Axxess for the steering wheel controls. You will not need to splice into the car's harness for the steering wheel controls I have integrated the connections to the radio harness. All the harnesses have been soldered and wrapped with heat shrink. The only thing you will have to source separately is bluetooth mic, currently ~$15 on ebay. Actual pictures of the unit as it currently sits in my car below, I used the factory dash kit (non bose) as the small gap around the pioneer was better than the metra faceplate IMO. You will need to source your own dash kit if you dont want to reuse the stock one/have a bose radio. Price $525 paypal/shipped with everything. Now $450 for everything shipped!. Not trying to bash you or say anything negative in ANY WAY, I just want to offer some friendly advice by letting you know that crutch field has this one for sale for the same price brand new. It's probably gone down a bit since you bought it so you may want to think about lowering your asking price some. Either way Glws!

I hear ya, that's fair. I figured the wiring and the axxess would be worth it to someone. The unit is really only two months old though so it's like new but I realize its not..
Anyway bump for a price drop. 500 without the axxess but with the wiring to hook it up to the z. If no one is interested ill probably just keep it. Thanks for looking! |

Selling it because after installing it I realized I don't really use all the features (i.e. navigation, video, iPod control) like I thought I would. I really just use the Bluetooth to stream music which I can accomplish via aux cable. In short, I rather spend it elsewhere on the car.
The unit has no password on it, I haven't set one. Yes it has been bypassed. I can do 525 shipped. That'll should cover pp and shipping, if not I'll make up the rest. Last edited by ga0887; 03-10-2013 at 12:30 PM. |

its got the detachable buttons on the left bottom? The dude on the youtube vid says if u power the unit w/o it attached and you dont have the password then ur screwed so i was just making sure before considering a possible purchase. Are there any scratches on the faceplate?

Yes it does have the detachable buttons. I have removed them several times with the car on (unit powered) and never once has it asked for a password. I think you'd have to actually set a password first.
There are no scratches on the face plate and/or screen. I can try to take more hi res photos if you're interested in seeing that. I just have to find the camera somewhere in my apartment lol. |
