We liked the design so it's still on one of the race cars.

Just out of curiosity, any gains on the dyno?

Chuchu84 02-18-2013 06:41 AM

Interested , can this one fit a g37s coupe? Thanks

I don't remember the gain, but the final DynoJet number with this exhaust was 293 at the rear wheels on a 2011 370Z (non-Nismo). The car also had an UpRev tune and the cats removed.

My research says 'no' - this thread seems to confirm that:

It will fit perfectly with an extension pipe between the y-pipe and mid-pipe.

The custom single-pipe exhaust we built in-house made the same power but was lighter so we took the NISMO off for weight-savings.

cor240sx90 02-18-2013 10:39 AM

would you sell it with the y-pipe?

SS_Firehawk 02-18-2013 11:45 AM

There are plenty of aftermarket Y pipes available that range in price. Tanabe, Motordyne, Litespeed, AAM, they all sell Y pipe only. If you are truly cheap, get one off ebay.

cor240sx90 02-18-2013 12:29 PM

Can you use the stock y-pipe?

SS_Firehawk 02-18-2013 01:23 PM

Yes, but the stock Y pipe is dreadful. You can get a cheap Y pipe for $99, all the nicer ones are over $200.
