Springs are definitely stiffer than base springs. The drop, maybe some of the other guys can chime in but Im pretty sure its less than .5 inch. You will not need any extras to get within factory specs with these springs.

There is no drop. Some will say .4" but I strongly disagree. It's a Urban Legend. lol
(I installed them on my Base and it did not lower at all)
