Yes, but I'm going to buy the cable shortly, and then you'll be able to purchase the cable with the license on it.

You now have my interest. is it the Tuner license?

Think its the basic license, which are $500 normally. Upgrade to tuner is 200

There is no difference between any of the Osiris licenses. They are all identical, whether you get flashed at a shop, buy Osiris standard, or buy Osiris tuner. The Osiris license costs $300.

The difference between the standard and tuner is in the cable... standard just lets you perform diagnositc functions with cipher, and reflash the ecu. Tuner gives you access to the rom editor and all the tuning functions as well.

Yup. Which is exactly why this has been on sale for months.

This would go pretty quick if the OP picked up a tuner version cable with no license on it, reflash back to stock, then post it up for sale as a Osiris tuner kit for $600. Hard to sell just a reflash license locally unless you know how to tune, and the shop won't be much help since they already made their money off it

Is this still for sale? Did you buy the cable?

So if I'm paying 200 for the liscense how much is the device itself? I thought that when someone purchases the uprev device it comes ready to tune the car.....I'm lost. I haven't used it but will eventually as I'm ordering parts for my 370..

You can purchase the tuner cable add on for $400 separately and turn this into Osiris tuner version, but what he is selling is just the reflash license. You need that to unlock the ecu before a tuner can tune it.. Normal price is $300. So a local guy could pay him $200, get it transferred onto his ecu, then just pay the shop for tuning

Sorry for newbie question, I'm planning on getting my car tuned with UpRev soon at the Z car garage in Nor cal. I am looking into the difference between each package and not sure what's best for me.

So he's just selling the license which is retail $300
Then there's the Standard which is retail $500
Then there's the Tuner which is retail $700

I have no tuning experience but I'd like to learn how to tune some day as I intend to keep this car for long. Which one do you think I should get?

Should I just get the Basic license and take it to the shop? Will i still get the 5 maps with the basic?

If I get the Tuner version, can I still take it to the shop to have them tune it with 5 maps?

My understanding between all these versions is that Basic comes with nothing, Standard is a basic with a Cipher cable, and Tuner version is a basic but with a tuner cable with a software, can someone confirm with me and suggest what I should do for now?

Correct. The "basic" you're referring to is just the reflash license, which you need to unlock the ecu and tune it. No cable, no access to the software, no tune. When a shop quotes you X amount for a dyno tune they're usually including $300 for the license, the rest is the cost of them tuning it.

Both standard and tuner give you access to cipher so you can datalog, check and clear codes, and other OBD2 diagnostic functions, as well as reflash back to stock and sell it used later on if you want.

Only tuner lets you play with the tune yourself.

No matter which option you go with you can always go to a shop and get dyno tuned without having to purchase a new Osiris license, if you've already been reflashed you will only pay for the cost of the dyno time, not the full amount
