I painted mine, came out pretty nice. Not perfect, but eh I like it I did it in a couple of hours.

Yep, I like them a lot. With the slightly deeper exhaust note of the NISMO it must get amplified pretty well with the gen 3's. However on the stock exhaust, the sound is a bit more raw, not raspy though

when he says its painted red his telling you to just paint it... why spend like 180 for one that looks exactly the same when you can paint it for like 20 bucks :D i think new the nismo EC are like 220 dont qoute me on that...

Because I rather not paint it lol?

Good luck finding one. Most people won't sell em unless they've redone their engine bay with carbon fiber or something.

I was considering buying one also until I saw how much they cost. Even if it were used, IMHO not worth it but I wish you luck on your quest anyway

I might be willing to trade mine for yours. My nismo is silver and i think it would look better with the silver cover.....lemme think about it.

Haha i sent fairladyz a pm about that exact thread. We agreed to swap but hes shying away in fear the red wont match taste.
