The bearing pictured is not a 370z bearing. I picked up a BRZ bearing by accident while taking the picture.

Looking to dump this clutch immediately. Have no use for it.

What kit is this? that PP looks stock (self adjusting)? Is it new? Disc looks like segmented Kevlar...like Clutchmasters and others.
Is new stock CSC included? As you stated, there is no TOB.

Thanks
Ron

What is a TOB?

Also is this kit brand new?

djtodd 11-06-2012 08:54 PM

TOB - throw-out bearing

Correct this is the same material from the same manufacturer as Clutchmasters and a couple other larger clutch companies use. It is the best Kevlar material on the market and the only one that I use. It is a steel backed disc and has a high burst rate.

Does this Kevlar require resurfaced FW as well? That what I have read. It also requires carefull break in too.
Also, is NEW CSC supplied with this, since there is no TOB?
I sent you PM.

Race_Tech 11-07-2012 06:30 AM

You should always get your flywheel resurfaced. It allows the clutch disc to put the proper transfer of material onto the surface and prevents premature slip and degradation from contaminants from a previous disc. If you send yours to me I can resurface for you but I doubt you have that downtime.

CSC?

Race_Tech 11-12-2012 10:08 PM

Kit is still available and will come with associated parts. Release bearing and all.

I believe the CSC is the clutch slave cylinder, the OEM version of which is prone to failure.

Race_Tech 11-13-2012 02:58 PM

Thank you for clarifying that.
