Seller report: SS_firehawk
Purchased a BORLA ATAK exhaust from SS_firehawk and just wanted to pass on my experience for others to learn from.
I sent him $470 for mufflers to be shipped to my house...this is what I received. Absolutely no packaging internal to the box, which caused the mufflers to puncture the box, scraping the tips and bending the exhaust hangers. While I was able to bend the hangers back in place, this level of packaging is not acceptable, and the damage devalues the product significantly. |

Yikes! I built a box with a wood frame when I shipped Boost_Lee my old FI exhaust!

Not sure if you liaise with the seller first to work out the issue. It seem from the sale thread 2011+ Mustang GT Borla ATAK Axle back exhaust For Sale, it was his father who shipped it. Either way, it was a poorly packaged job but it seem to me he was just the middleman. But I stand to be corrected.

Of course at the end of the day, if he's selling things on behalf of his dad, he owns responsibility for what is being shipped. |

I'm to lazy to check where they were shipped from but I've shipped from Canada over the border to the states and both times customs opened my packages and switched the packaging around, untaped everything, pretty much made a mess of it. I doubt that's what happened here. Just sayin

I agree. That is poor packaging! I would be furious.

Best of luck Red. These sale disputes are never fun. That packaging is horrible.
