Cable for updating firmware on Axxess Metra ACSW interface.

This is a USB PC Interface cable that lets you update the firmware in Metra Axxess interface products.

The cable comes with instructions, but please note that software is not included with the cable. A computer running Microsoft Windows equipped with an USB port and access to the Internet is required to install and retrieve the latest updates. Item was used once to update my module and it worked great! Very easy to use. You just have to unplug the module and plug it into the cable, then plug it into your PC via USB. Download the program and latest firmware update and program.

My module was having an annoying issue where it was randomly changing the source and volume without pressing any buttons. The latest firmware update fixed my issue. Firmware updates are frequent so this is good to have so you can update it yourself. This costs $60 from Metra.
