I had one in my genesis coupe from the same company. I will never run any other knob. Just feels very direct and comfortable

Mine came off just by hand with tightening it first than unscrewing it normally.

1. Grab knob
2. turn to the left to unscrew
3. knob comes off.

Thanks. Just wanted to make sure. I heard a while back that they put thread lock on some of these and people had a hard time taking the OEM knob off.

I tried taking mine off, its on there VERY VERY tight, not an easy job to say the least.

yeah easy i dont know why i see people on the forums use tools and damage the knob when taking off... if you cant take off by hand u shouldnt have this car lol and go hit the gym

They put too much locktite on some of them.

I didn't have to use tools.. thank God. I was afraid of damaging the knob. One of the lucky ones i guess.
