I'm just curious, how did you acquire the engine? And just for safety purpose, if a member is going to trust you and send $4000, i think it's ONLY fair

I'm just curious, how did you acquire the engine? And just for safety purpose, if a member is going to trust you and send $4000, i think it's ONLY fair for you to post one (or more) recent pic(s) with your username and date. thanks

but yes i agree as for how i came about it. a got it from a guy who bought it at a freight auction. he paid the cost of shipping it plus the cost of the aluminum (which is to say very very cheap) and then he sold it to me for a lot more i picked it up intending to swap it into my 350z but found out pretty much as soon as i got it that it was going to cost about 10 grand i thought it cam with an intake and accessories and such, so just getting it running would cost like 5 grand... so im having to sell it i tried selling it a couple years ago when i first got it but they were so new that most people didn't need/want a brand new engine so it's been sitting in a crate for a couple years tried selling it local on craigslist and through contacts but most people want me to part out only one piece or something so i don't want to do that and then have only a partial block sitting around hopefully now that more people are building and tuning and blowing these engines up i can find someone who wants it to restore to stock or just to replace their blown engine or something i AM willing to part it out if the major components sell... like both heads and the block... its a lot less room to store a crank and rods and small stuff than it is to store this whole crate lol should have pics today though... i'll get them up asap |
