Competition Clutch Light Weight Flywheel(SOLD)

--SOLD--
Thanks everyone. I hope the new owner enjoys it as much as I did.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------
I have a used Competition Clutch light weight flywheel for sale. I bought it from and had it installed by S&R Performance about three months ago and it has about 1000 miles on it. It's in perfect condition and I'm selling it because Nissan just replaced my tranny, clutch and flywheel under warranty. This particular flywheel weighs 17lbs compared to the stock 32lbs.

Specs: Products

I paid $390 for it new and am asking $300+shipping or best offer.
I calculated shipping from me in Florida (33620) to the farthest point away in the US (Washington state) and Fedex ground will cost about $25.

Ahh..perfect condition? But is that a broken gears at the bottom section of the clutch?
Could it be the wrong picture or I'm misunderstanding what your selling?

That's just a loose flap of the packing material, me thinks.

I knew that picture would come back to bite me in the butt. Frost is correct it's just some loose packing foam. Here is another picture outside of the foam. I left it at full size so you could see the teeth in detail.

I added a link to the manufacturers site and the weight in my original post.

The flywheel has been great the last few months. I'm going to miss it. Nissan just didn't want to install aftermarket gear while doing warranty work. The engine revs much faster than with the stock clutch. The flywheel does generate a bit of chatter at idle but you're not going to notice it unless you're setting next to a wall for the sound to bounce off of. The chatter goes away after you pass 900 rpm. I never got any weird looks or anything. :rofl2:

Thanks man, Now I know why you are called "The Super Moderator"

Thanks also OP for the re-post of picture. Good price.

By curiosity what was the reason for you claiming warranty with Nissan?
Did they give you the BS like because of the aftermarket staff u put in or because u tracked the car?

Sorry for the off topic just a brief commercial break.

About a month after I bought the car I started having issues getting into and out of first and reverse. I took it to Nissan and they said they couldn't reproduce the issue. I think they just didn't want to touch the car because I have the Stillen supercharger installed. I've never tracked my car but I figured Nissan wouldn't be too keen on helping me out because of the supercharger. After reading up here and having S&R look at it we agreed it might be the infamous CSC issue or possibly the clutch. I figured if we were going to have to crack open the bell housing I might as well do some upgrading. After a new CSC, flywheel, clutch and pressure plate made no difference at all in the shifting, I bled the clutch line. The bleeding helped a little but the problem was still there so I took it back to Nissan last week. I explained (in detail) what I had done to troubleshoot the issue. This time they were able to reproduce it and recommended a new trans. This whole thing was a 4-5 month process. Now my trans feels like it did when I bought the car. :happydance:

We now return to your regularly scheduled flywheel sale...
