QUAIFE 60G 6speed Sequential Transmission (two!)
I have 2 Quaife 6speed straight-cut sequential transmissions for sale. They are both inspected and freshened up last month with only a couple hours of run time on each one. These transmissions are the best transmissions I have ever used but I am selling them because I am switching to a GForce 4speed. I have never had a misshift with these and hate to sell them.
This transmission comes with a Z33 bellhousing that utilizes a external slave cylinder for easy maintenance. Bolts onto VQ35's! Ratios: 1st 2.769 2nd 2.057 3rd 1.579 4th 1.260 5th 1.104 6th 1.000 $7500 each http://www.chrisforsberg.com/wp-cont...4801283249.jpg http://www.chrisforsberg.com/wp-cont...4801237998.jpg http://www.chrisforsberg.com/wp-cont...4802289553.jpg |
Are all six gears straight cut or just the first two straight cut with the last four helical (which is the norm)? Buyer be aware that straight cut gears make significantly more noise.

I believe Quaife sequetial gearbox is a complete unit. So the OP should be selling 2 gearboxes.

After some research I found QBE60G - Quaife Engineering is selling this for £5,438.00 which equates to $7,134.13 (current exchange rate). If you purchase this item within the U.S. you are excluded from VAT charges.
To order one with the 350 housing will cost £6190 = $8119.23. They do not currently make a bell housing that fits the 370Z and I have yet to find any proof that the bolt pattern for the 350Z (Z33) and the 370Z (Z34) are the same. |
I just compared it to a VQ37 and they do not bolt on. I did also compare the currency exchange and the converted price using CNN's currency converter (Foreign Exchange Rates and Currency Exchange Rate Calculator - CNNMoney) and 6190 pounds equals 9,940.52 USD, minus VAT and shipping from the UK.
