ok... I've been around my 2 year old too long.

Just get a rubber strap wrench, no damage done to my factory knob.

If you kill yours gettting it off you can have mine for cheap. I removed it a long time ago and its just collecting dust. I have no plans to ever re-install it.

its in perfect condition, my removal was very easy. ( w/ strap wrench fyi)
