Uprev works for pretty most 2003 and newer Nissan and Infiniti's, what do you drive?

Can you tell me what is this up rev for? I know it should make your car fast but how? Is it a something you put/place to the ECU?

Its tuning software that you flash onto the ecu and allows you to reprogram stuff like A/F ratio, timing, remove the speed/rev limiters, as well as disable DTC's and removing the WOT restriction. UpRev - Engine Management
