Amuse R1 Titan and Amuse Y pipe

I have a PowerHouse Amuse R1 Titan fully titanium exhaust and a PowerHouse Amuse titanium Y pipe for a Nissan 370z for sale. It is one of the rarest, highest quality exhausts made for the Nissan 370z. The exhaust has roughly only 4,000 miles of use. It's extremely light weight titanium construction saves an estimated 30lbs over stock! The fitment and finish is top notch, with 100% perfect fitment. It has the rare, thicker rolled tips. There are some light scuffs on the underside of the exhaust (in the center, where the exhaust hangs a bit lower) from my 370z being lowered. They are very light and should be expected with any lowered car. Close up photos can be taken upon request. I am located in Surprise Arizona, but will personally deliver the exhaust as far as Socal. I CAN ship if someone in another state wants it, but shipping will be at buyers expense, and shipping insurance will be up to the buyer if they choose to purchase it. Save yourself the money and the time by not having to wait months to receive it from Japan. I am regretfully selling this, its such an amazing exhaust but I am going to go a different route. I daily drive the 370z now, and I don't want to risk anything happening to this nice of an exhaust when I have to leave the car out for over 10 hours a day in a high vehicle theft area. $3000 plus shipping for the midpipe and muffler combo. Y pipe has been sold!

Ur tips arn't burn. Is it possible for me to buy burnt tips for the exhaust after I get this one? Or is it 1 piece?

To be honest, I'm really not sure. I believe it's one piece. The burnt tips are thinner, these rolled tips are thicker and have rounded edges. I haven't seen any other Amuse with the same tips, the burned ones are more common. I've seen videos of people doing their own burning of titanium with a torch but I wouldn't ever trust myself enough to do it and wouldn't risk ruining it either

Did you have it built with or without resonators?

RedlineAZ 03-19-2012 11:45 PM

It has a straight Y pipe and the rear mid pipe is resonated.

Most of the time people try to burn them themselves, it doesn't come out good. Best left to either buy burnt, or buy non-burnt. GLWS

the burnt tips will never be rolled the way this exhaust is. you can try burning them, but i don't think you'll get a good effect. it's always POSSIBLE for you to buy burnt tips, but it's one piece, so you'd have to saw off the tips on right now and re-weld...your call if it's worth the risk for you, and it won't look as good later on lol. personally, i think this exhaust is even rarer than the typical amuse exhaust just for the rolled tips!

to the other guy - from the looks of it, it's standard issue resonators on the midpipe before it hits the cans.

Both the non-burnt tips and the rolled tips are normal options from Amuse. The non-burnt tips are the "C Tail" option and the rolled tips are the "09 Tails." The reason why they're called "09 Tail" is because they changed the laws for street cars in Japan in 2009 to disallow straight-cut tips on street cars; Amuse released the rolled tips to counter that.

I think this is the only 09 Tail 370Z exhaust in the US, so still rare.

As phelan mentioned, you can't replace the tips since they're part of the exhaust and I don't think Amuse is going to sell tips and risk having somebody ruin one of their "pieces of art."

Thanks for all the great info! That was very beneficial and informative! It really is a work of art! Phelan, I used your write up in my original post, you really did an excellent review of the exhaust. :)
