Also, it's worth mentioning that the door cards are fairly easily removed. There are three bolts to remove, and you'll want to pop up the window/locking control area out, and then the door panel pops off with a gentle tug. The hardest part is feeding the window/locking control panel through the door card without scratching. The card is held on by a large number of phillips-head screws. It's very easy to do as a two-person job.
So, if you're considering the seats, consider shelling out for the door cards. IMO, it's worth it to make it all look consistent. ask me how I know Last edited by shadoquad; 03-14-2012 at 03:19 PM. |

So if you had a touring model (already heated seats, buttons for seats, etc.) would it be just a straight matter of unbolting and putting the new ones in?

I think some people are forgetting that they will be able to sell their touring seats to someone else with a base Z for a good chunk of change and hardly be spending any money. The swap would be extremely simple for the buyer. I want them also.
I'll PM you tomorrow I might take them after a discussion w/ the GF, assuming no one else got them.

You do not even have to switch the seat buckles I unplugged the battery to reset the Airbags just in case.
