The OEM Y pipe is extremely restrictive and should definitely be swapped out.

noted. I haven't pulled the trigger on F.I. yet. But i've always tossed around the idea of an "original" exhaust. just to be different

The Meisterschaft will definitely accomplish that. Of all the parts I'm selling this exhaust is the hardest to let go.

from the pics its SUS, Ti would cost a lot more and considering the brittle characteristic of full Ti exhausts, I'd rather have a SUS for the long term.

It is the SUS....also I would swap out the stock Y pipe, however its not necessary to install this exhaust, b/c they are the same diameter

Stock Y pipe doesn't have a 3in outlet, but I won't say anymore in your for sale thread. GLWS.

I thought it would bolt up to this exhaust just fine? I guess I was mistaken, my fault...you can say all you want and thank you I have been trying to sell this forever...I'm so tired of seeing this beautiful exhaust just chilling in the garage...should be on a Z somewhere....
