I haven't seen any other SA 55Ms like this...

The color can get very bright and vivid in direct light, they get darker in the shade and at night.

These have been on the car for 2000 miles since they have been painted.

No scratches
No curb damage
No scuffs
No bends

**The only bad thing is, when the shop painted them, they left the stock wheel weights on the insides of the barrels. Once they were sent to be remounted and balanced, the weights had to be removed leaving a small square that is not painted. The wheels were dark gray before, so it's really not noticeable and it's on the very inside of the wheel. **

I am very particular about paint and it did not bother me.

Thanks for looking! :hello:

how do the fronts fit with the +15 offset?

TypeOne 11-21-2011 10:40 AM

Being as low as I am... it rubbed a bit at first. After I rolled and pulled them a little, it's just fine now.

I wondering, how it would be on a red car? Nice rims

I'm not sure what you are asking.

I took an F Zero blue CE28N and flipped through a paint chip book until I could get the color that was the closest match. Side by side you can tell that my wheels have a slight HINT of pearl, however it's damn near spot on.

These wheels came in matte gray from Weds, this is NOT a factory Weds option. These are custom.

I'm not sure how they would look on a black car... if you like blue and red together, then it would be awesome. lol

Just so you know, if you have the HEX code, take that to a paint shop and they can mix it based off of that.

dirTy_shoeZ 11-21-2011 05:53 PM

ok, i was wondering if it was a factory based color "f zero", ive found close matches, but i want to have one of my wheels redone, so i was trying to find the exact color.

dirTy_shoeZ 11-21-2011 05:57 PM

heres a how they look on red....ppl kinda hate it at first and then they love it. lol

Dirtyshoes, I really want a set of ce28s in +12...but it would be a toss up between those and meister s1s.

jappyjapz 11-22-2011 12:59 AM

did you put spacers?? What tires size did you have on the wheels? thanks

TypeOne 11-22-2011 08:15 AM

+15mm spacers in the rear.

:excited:

Yes... my desire for both wheels have stemmed from years of being around them but never really having the chance to get the ones I want. I could have picked up a few different sets here and there, but I wanted to order them direct, the way I want them... I don't want to settle for a used set. But, for the sake of financial awareness, I would get a used set if the specs were right.
