Carbon Fiber Steering Wheel by CF Element

So i had alot of talk of people wanting a wheel done in a plain weave cf, instead of the normal 2x2 twill I've been doing. So here it is, all done and stitched up with a silver thread to match the silver accents in the car. Like the other I'm looking to sell this and swap for a stock wheel in return. I'll cover shipping out to you, buyer covers shipping back of OEM wheel. I use these wheels as a courtesy so you do not have to send your piece in for work. Oh and if someone is looking for a wheel done in 2x2 twill cf I have one of those too I am about to stitch back up... Both ready to ship on Monday.
PayPal will go to Custom_cf@yahoo.com
Checks can be mailed and if using PayPal please add 3% to cover the fees.

$450 plus stock

Thanks for looking.
Feel free to call/text too. 732 754 0423. Tony

Airbag not included btw....

I'm definitely considering this in the future. How exactly does the airbag situation work because you said its not included?

You just use the airbag and horn out of your wheel. So basically I just send out the outer ring. You pull your stuff apart and then send me your ring back. Simple!!
Its also pretty easy to remove the wheel so I can walk you through it.

You want $400 plus my wheel? How would I swop my airbag and all?

MattP725 11-13-2011 06:29 PM

I don't see the dif between the 2x2 and standard...

Its $450 plus your stock....swapping the wheel is easy. Disconnect the battery, remove 2 bolts holding airbag, unplug bag....one nut holds the wheel.
Whoever buys it can give a call and I can walk you though the swap. Or have a shop do it for u if not comfortable.

Really?? Take a close look at the weave. Plain weave is a single woven, where 2x2 is double.

Removing and replacing the steering wheel is super easy if you have patience and take your time. It took me about 15 min. Hardest part was unplugging the airbag. Its not as intimidating as it first seems.
