I had installed this in my hatch infront of the spare in my Z for about 2 months prior to trading the Z in... It fit perfectly in there and took up zero trunk space...

Its a amplified 250w Bazooka Bass tube...

BTA6250D - this one. Listed at $242 here... http://www.hifisoundconnection.com/S...id/0/SFV/30046

I paid about 220+ shipping for it and 50 or so for the wiring... The wire is high quality and easily flexible.... Used only for 2 months or less...

I have TWO RCA's one that includes a remote wire that i used... one is from kit one is a monster cable rca...

1 8 gauge power wire, true to size, high quality, with a distrution block on one end and fuse block on the other....

ground wire, and everything else included in the kit

you will not need anything but to install this once you recieve this...

$220 shipped....

Sodapopopopop 09-08-2011 11:21 AM

Nope, everything is built in to the bass box, usually. Although this one may be different.

eastwest2300 09-08-2011 11:36 AM

I take back my previous post, if you look at the last picture, the amp IS built in, hence the red (power wire) black (ground wire) and the purple wire (RCAs).

What model is this and did you happen to keep the foam on each side of the sub?
Thanks.

chuckd05 09-09-2011 01:45 AM

I did keep the foam in on either side while I had my z but left it in when I got rid of it along with the center piece I cut out.

Model is - BTA6250D

6.5" amplified bass tube. Fit in snug with no mounting. Didn't wiggle or vibrate. Stayed snug in there and provided all the bass I wanted. It will not vibrate ur car or even Be heard that far outside your car. IMO it added just the right amount of Bass to complete the sound system with my Polk entry level components without adding any significant weight (15lbs).

Let's sell this. $200 shipped

Most likely not, but you can use whats called a Line Out Converter, that'll give you the hook up for an RCA connection.
