Flat bottomed wheels is his, but we still got the round bottom one available. If you're not feeling the round we will have a couple more wheels back in a few days to do in cf so you can take one of those slso...PM me and we can get it going.

What are the steps involved in making the flat bottomed one?

Do these just come with the ring and we have to rebuild the seat? Or do they come ready to bolt back up/plug in harness'?

Would love to have a flat bottomed one, just can't take the one off my DD Z.

We have 3 wheels we use as swaps. Once one goes out, the buyer sends their stock one back to us. It then goes though the processe. I use our saw to chop the bottom of the Wheel to give it the flat shape. Then fiberglass the top and bottom to add stiffness and get ready for cf. Then do the cf process. Then once its done I stitch the leather back on the sides and out it goes to its new home. The part that we actually send out is just the ring of the wheel. The only part that gets wired up is the airbag and the controls which is part of the airbag unit. And for that you just use your own. It makes perfect sense that no one can wait for us to do the cf work on these wheels, since everyone dd's their cars. Which is why we bought three and use them as swaps.

Is it possible at the time you go to reassemble the wheel, do you just reuse the same leather you took off originally, or do you put on new leather/stitching?

Only reason I ask is to see if it's possible to change the stitching color to match the stitching I plan to have in my seats (whenever you stop coming out with new CF parts to take all my money ) put in.

Is this something we can just take to a dealer to have them switch the rings, or does it have to go to an aftermarket shop to do? I can't imagine a dealer maintaining a warranty knowing the ring is changed? (Even though it would have nothing to do with anything working properly...

Lastly, do you think if you had the regular CF weave on the door inserts, silver ring, and rear strut bar, would it look dumb to have the Red Kevlar/CF on the wheel? Or just keep the standard weave on everything?
