Zenclosures Single 12" with Alpine Type R

Up for grabs is a Zenclosures Box with a single 12" Type R sub. This setup will rattle your teeth out of your skull in the Z. I only had it hooked up to an Alpine M500 Mono amp for about two months, but I had numerous compliments on how good the stereo sounded and how nice the box looked in the car.

I've had the car Since May 2010 and I only have 8500 miles on her, so the sub has been VERY lightly used. I would estimate no more than about 30 hours on the sub total. Everything looks new as well. No scratches, etc.

I am currently living in Enterprise, AL (Ft Rucker for flight school), and would prefer to do a local pickup instead of having to deal with shipping.

Would you do 200 even with FedEx?. I think they are cheapest and safest.

I can do $210 with UPS. Fedex was only 5 bucks cheaper and woulda cost me more in gas than the savings to ship with them.

I am in flight training and don't have time to get more than 6 hours sleep a night and the closest fedex location is like 30 miles from where I live, UPS is around the corner. They delivered my sub and many other items that have come in perfect condition. I'm not trying to be difficult, lol, this is why I preferred a local deal, but I'm willing to do what I can to facilitate a quick sale.

This is still a good deal for this set-up. You won't be disappointed.

UPS will be fine then. Do you have an amp ? And how hard is it to wire up to a stock head unit?

I had it hooked up to an Alpine M-500 Mono amp. It is still in the car. And the install is not hard.

You'll need an in-line converter to connect it if you are using a stock headunit. One note that my installer didn't listen to me on is that you have to tap into the bass wire on the Sub harness itself (if you have the Bose system of course...otherwise any bass wire is fine). I had the amp put in by a shop so if my car burnt up, it was on them and not my insurance.

I have a in-line converter I could include for $15. The installer thought the converter was bad (and they were out of stock after the one we were using), so he sent me to another shop to buy one. once he found out that he was just a dumbass and shoulda listened to me, we used the original. Since the second was opened, I couldn't return it. So it doesnt have the packaging, but it works just fine.
