No the original steering wheel is still on my car. They just ordered me a new one.

For reference here is the breakdown on Nissan courtesy parts. I did see that the steering wheel assembly is $665 without the lid. The lid and airbag are a single part which is an additional $600.

Have the dealer change it out, and then sell the used one to someone who wants to make a custom covered steering wheel.

I'd rather sell the brand new one. The damaged one isn't even really that damaged anymore after I detailed the car.
