Full Vehicle Wrap-- Group Buy

I am going to have my car completely wrapped in matte and found an installer willing to do a group buy price of $1100 for the install. Each person needs to provide the material and he will wrap the car. This is for anyone in the So Cal area.

The guy does amazing work and would be doing the jobs on the side. I need about 4-5 other people in order to get the price. Material cost is about $400 depending on what you go with. You can choose ANY color. This is an amazing price considering everywhere else I looked quoted me $2500 +

If you are interested PM me. Serious inquiries only.

Turn Around is ONE DAY.

Wondering that too.

I want my car wrapped!! ... maybe in a few months.. What happens when you take the wrap off (unwrap?)? Does the paint stay the same?

Hey Guys,

I posted on Nagtroc as well and have received 2 PMs so far. I am working on getting a list together. At this point I have the following people....

As far as the way the buy will work. We need to get the group together and then we will pay deposits. After paying the deposit, each person will be able to set up an individual appointment to have the work done. It will take One Day to wrap each vehicle. If you are from Las Vegas, Arizona, etc. you could drive in and be out after its finished. The installer does all the vehicle wraps for Monster Energy and does great work. You are responsible for providing the material and can choose any color you want. If you want, I can have the installer purchase the wrap for you. I would recommend 3M or Oracal. For the person who said the wrap should cost 300-500... this is for a FULL vehicle wrap. Ask around and you will find that shops generally charge $3,000.

Check out the links below for vinyl purchasing. Depending on what colors everyone wants, we could buy multiple rolls and split the cost should more than one person want the same color. I am personally going to go with Matte Grey. Picture Link Below.

The paint keeps the same color and doesnt peel off. Just make sure u wrap all the color of if you miss spots the exposed paint will fade and its a PIA to fix. I have a sign business on the side and i do truck and car wraps. The vinyl i use will come off very easily in a little over 5 years. Never took anything off past that. Ive done boats, cars, big campers. Its pretty cool what people think of. They are starting to wrap walls now. Just did that for a customer a couple months ago. Pretty cool stuff. Anyone in the the north east interested in it PM me.

This trailer came out pretty cool. Wish i had a pic during the day :/

And for all you guys doing this make sure you get it laminated. If you dont the wrap COULD stain and it will fade a lot quicker. Just a heads up

These wraps do not need to be laminated. The vinyl that does need to be laminated is the material that you print on for branded vehicles, etc. The 3M and Oracal that we would be using comes ready to go.

I am definitely interested can someone point as to the right direction as far as color goes I have a Monterey blue z so do I just get a clear wrap? sorry if I sound like a tard

JJ-NISMO 02-16-2011 09:17 PM

If you decide to wrap your car, you should go with a color that you want to wrap it in :) If you like your blue, then stick with it!

Most of us will be doing matte black, matte grey, etc. Something different than the factory offers/

emayfiel 02-17-2011 12:40 PM

free bump.

come on, lets get this thing settled!

JJ-NISMO 02-17-2011 12:51 PM

I am speaking with the installer today. We will work out deposit payments and then get rolling :)

emayfiel 02-17-2011 04:24 PM

what colors are everyone else going with? Maybe would be more cost effective to go in together on a vinyl purchase?

JJ-NISMO 02-17-2011 04:29 PM

I am going matte dark grey. I could be swayed to a satin blue as well if others are interested.

Linky here... 3M Matte Grey Viny Sticker Wrap Sheet

They also have the Oracal in a satin dark grey which could be sexy.

209Z 02-17-2011 05:36 PM

amuse kit with oracal in satin dark grey would be soooo sexy!

JJ-NISMO 02-17-2011 05:40 PM

It would be amazing.

I spoke with, Gabe, the installer. We are going to be doing deposits via PayPal this week and then working on getting the installs set up! There are still a few spots. If anyone wants in, PM me.

Remember if your on the East Coast the option is available to have this done as well! JJ has set up a great deal for you west coast guys!!!

Typically I only use 3M and on occasion Oracle. I also have access to other matte finishes like blue and red if anyone is interested you can order it from me.

Kastley85891 02-18-2011 08:59 AM

What about Mid god dam it, Texas needs some of this

phelan 02-18-2011 10:17 AM

Just curious, but would the installer do the same price to wrap an amuse kitted car?

JJ-NISMO 02-18-2011 12:10 PM

Ya, I am almost positive it would be the same price.

They generally price things out based on the size of the vehicle and the difficulty. An Amuse kitted car is similar in both to the Nismo :)

Update on Matte Colors!

Gerber no longer makes large enough width for Matte Red or Blue However, I have a solution you guys might like even more!!!!

I can do any color you want in Matte using 3M's 8520 Matte Over Laminate. It will cost extra but you get the fexibility to do any color you want in matte finish. I can also Apply a Matte Finish to your OEM Paint... For the same price as quoted in the East Coast Thread.

More Options Just for you guys!

emayfiel 02-22-2011 05:44 PM

Can you provide a link for the colors within 3M's 8520 Matte Over Laminate? Couldn't seem to find a place to view color choices.
Thanks.

Also, when is this socal wrap starting?

JJ-NISMO 02-22-2011 05:47 PM

Wrap is starting soon. I will keep you posted :)

The 3M overlaminate is a clear film... it simply goes over either your factory paint or a colored vinyl to give a matte appearance.
