TESTING WATERS... F/S 40Th Anniversary Wheels/Tires/TPMS

I'm just trying to get a feel for this. Wheels/tires are currently on the car, I'm really thinking about ordering the new SL's with tires. If I'm going to do this, I need someone can be patient so that I can order the new ones, and do the swap. It will take about two weeks at the most after I find the right buyer for this wheels/tires.

The tires have about 6,250 miles on them. The vehicle has never been tracked. I would say the tires have about 80% thread left. The wheels have NO curb damage, or scratches. I barely drive the car. I don't have to sell the wheels, I actually really like them but again If I find the right buyer, why not.

I'd be willing to ship the wheels out w/ insurance as long as the buyer pays for it.

Offers can be taken. I just don't know... we'll see how this goes... :tiphat:

Hi,

a. You MUST post a price for your product within 24 hours to keep this thread open (per forum rules). If you ASK, how much "the members" think is the RIGHT price, you'll get anywhere from "their xbox360 + halloween candy from last year" to "$3000 Cash!". Just post an asking price with "or best offer via pm" right next to it.

b. Any members who post negative replies in this thread (any sales thread), you're forcing me to take action against you as IT IS against the policy. Take 5 minutes to read over classfied rules: http://www.the370z.com/parts-sale-pr...ied-rules.html

Good luck with the sale OP.

70% tread with 7500 miles seems pretty optimistic.

Do you know the actual tread depth?

Yeah actually they are 70%. My car is technically sold, and there's a company that came out to inspect the car. inspectmyride.com. I have the report stating that.

You think that's optimistic still?

Considering the way that these tires wear, I believe it to be optimistic. There's no need to be hostile-- if they are actually at 70%, showing the tread depth will help. If they are not, an accurate assessment will help a potential buyer such as myself, decide whether they are worth it.

Having a number put down by a 3rd party doesn't necessarily means it is right. I have an inspection sheet from my dealer indicating my RE050a's had 10/32's of tread (more than they come with new!)when they were almost bald. Most places don't actually bother to check, they just look to see if they are new, lightly used, or bald, and then write down a number.

So you sold your car but you're still selling the 40th wheels?

Yeah, the buyer wants to put the TE37 SLS so helping him out with the stock wheel/tires.
