FS/T: Meisterschaft exhaust (WA) - SOLD
SOLD.
Greetings, and apologies if this is outside the rules (I checked first, really). I just picked up a used '09 370Z with a bunch of work already done to it. One of the things is the Meisterschaft exhaust. I don't know yet what parts exactly, nor do I know how many miles are on the exhaust (car just turned 16k). I do, however, know that it is insanely loud lol. Looking to sell or trade the exhaust for something tamer. FI or Stillen? Looking for something that sounds good but isn't 4x as loud as stock. Pretty sure my system is SUS, and unless I'm misjudging how loud it is it's probably the full system and possibly test pipes. I'll get it up on some ramps and pics taken as soon as time permits, or ASAP if someone is seriously interested. If it's got HFCs I'll want to keep those, but the rest can go (and the whole thing if it's got test pipes). Willing to trade straight up for another system that gives good results, like FI and Stillen. Have to be local-ish to Seattle for that, and if you've got the tools and skill to do the swap I'd be willing to throw some money into the deal too for you to do the actual swap. Let me know if you'd like more information. Last edited by JerWA; 02-18-2011 at 06:03 PM. Reason: Item Sold. |

I need to find out exactly what parts it is before I can price it, and there would be some lead time because I'll need to have something else lined up to go in it's place as this is my daily driver. The numbers I talk about below are assuming it's the full cat-back system (i.e. y pipe, mid pipe, mufflers). Having looked at it briefly I'm about 90% sure it's got the mid pipes, but I really need to get it up on some ramps to know for sure.
The full SUS system with tips is ~$2,100 new. As long as it's in good condition I'd probably be looking for about $1,500 for the whole cat-back system (and test pipes if it's got them). If I get under the car and it's all scratched up or anything I will come down in my ask. And as mentioned I'm willing to take a lot less than that in trade. A used FI TDX setup with HFCs (or equivalent like the Stillen), plus I'll pay you for the removal/install and throw in my test pipes. Or, if I have HFCs instead of test pipes, I'd be willing to trade it for an FI TDX cat-back setup installed. To me it's more important to avoid down time than it is to make money on this deal. If someone has a TDX setup for sale cheap then I might be able to let this go for cheaper. Thanks for the reply. |

It does sound good, but the volume level is indeed why I'm looking to sell. I just don't want that much attention in my daily drive, especially since I like to drive aggressively. Looking to keep the performance level, or close to it, with a little more stealth is all.
See above posts for guesstimate pricing. Now that I see there's some interest I'll try to get it up off the ground soon so I can take pics and have an exact parts list. Hopefully I'll have some more info for you guys by this weekend at the latest. If all else fails I can take a bunch of pics as it sits and stitch them together to show the full system. |

Here's some pictures I took with my cellphone. Looks like stock cats, which I find hard to believe, but what do I know. System is from the cats-back, and looks fairly new and in good condition, so I'm thinking $1,200ish (plus shipping, but I'd greatly prefer local and someone who can install heh) complete.
For trades, I'd be most interested in the FI TDX setup, HFCs included, and I'd be willing to trade straight across for that. Stillen too. Seems like from previous posts that's fair. Willing to sweeten the deal a bit if you can remove/install. |

PMs replied to. Just FYI, I can't afford to buy a new system at the moment so an outright sale isn't an option yet. I can do a trade as soon as the work can be arranged.
And to clarify, if you want to trade your FI or Stillen exhaust, I'd want HFCs in that deal. I don't mind used, and they show up here around $350 on a fairly regular basis. |

Hey JerWa,
The previous owner might have gutted the cats. Does is smell really bad? If not and you have H2O coming out the tips they should be good still. GLWS
