PS i cant find these ANYWHERE for sale, I called 6 places and no one has them so If you know...please share. |
They are on Cobbs website as available..??
|
hmmm i called they said they have discontinued all NA parts for the 370Z, I was hoping maybe someone had a set they didnt want or their are still in some one's stock....
|
Some of the forum sponsors were selling them. Just search for Cobb hoses or tubes and it should come up.
|
One of the distributors we use has one pair left in stock. It's the blue version. PM me with your address if you're interested.

Ugh. If you find someone with a few sets laying around, post the info up here. |
Wow! I had no problem finding them when I purchased my set. And that was only six months ago.

GZ3, I'll let you know if I find two pairs of black tubes. Otherwise, I think this is you and me scrambling for the last ones on the market! |

So, I've looked all over the place - probably a dozen different places - and I've found a handful of blue, but nothing in black. This sucks.
|
I'll sell my black ones for $500. Would be a nice downpayment on some Stillen Gen IIIs :)
Seriously though, don't get too bent out of shape. They're purely cosmetic. |
500?? Deal!! Hahaha, seriously I guess if I can't find a set of these I think I will just purchase the Tekeda intake. I have heard really good things about this intake from a few of our local track guys...and they have good gains....I have also found nothing but blue ones also...still looking!!!!
|
HPS makes some, and they advertise pretty nice gains.

Purely cosmetic unless you are building a custom intake. |

The HPS hoses look very similar to the Cobb hoses.

Honestly, I'd rather they come with heavy-duty band clamps (not the worm kind). Cleaner and less bulky than t-bolt clamps that aren't at all necessary on a NA engine. Plus HPS is better quality. I've had both brands of coupler/inlet tube on other cars. http://www.hiprospeed.com/ProductDet...87-68426-4-BLK And there is a dyno graph from an '09 G37 showing some measurable gains. Anyway, I'm done with my $0.02. Just trying to help out the OP since the COBB tubes are likely no longer available. The only other place I'd suggest checking is RallySport Direct here in Utah - they have a LOT of stuff in stock. |

just what I was looking for :)

Be sure to post something up about installing these if you do. They look legit, but I love hearing other's opinions.
Additionally, it's nice to know there is another option out there. I didn't want to have to spend the cash right now, but was feeling COBB was forcing me into it by ceasing production. |
Ordered!

As for gains, I think they're purely hypothetical and the butt dyno senses no change. There is no sound difference either. Consider it a purely cosmetic mod. |
